Our quality procedures involve
multiple colour plots at different stages of production, manual
& on-screen cross-check of electronic files against source
documents and utilization of automated quality tools &
routines.
The following short
summaries represent a selection of projects executed by us:
INDITS was provided with raster images
of the city map containing the electrical line network. Information
about the network such as cable specifications, cable source
and destinations, transformer information and poles were captured
in digital format. All entities were captured on different
layers and data was delivered to the customer in DGN format.
INDITS produced a digital topographic
map of regions in India. With the help of the digital map,
effects of earthquakes on the region can be studied. The topological
information such as contour lines (elevation), main roads,
side roads, rivers, lakes, and geographic information such
as vegetation lines, state and district boundaries were digitized
in specified layers. This allowed the development of a 3-D
elevation model of the districts. Further analysis in Mapinfo
systems on the effects of earthquakes on the geography of
the region can be performed.
Scanned raster files were provided
to INDITS in tiff format. INDITS vectorised the ground cadastre
information such as city boundaries, streets, rivers, plots,
and buildings such as churches, Industrial complexes, and
living complexes. All entities were captured in different
layers as per customer specification. The vectorised maps
were geo-referenced and edge matched.
INDITS prepared a 3-D model of bungalows,
residential and shopping complexes. Architectural plans were
redrafted as per the dimensions on the source maps provided
by the client. Walls, doors, windows, elevators, staircases
and other items were captured as per the source dimensions.
Total and partial areas were calculated and 3D models were
prepared showing different angles of the building. The data
was delivered in DWG format.
INDITS created an ortho-photo image
from four different images received from the client in TIFF
format. These four different images were merged with a minimum
loss of contrast, and an adjustment of grayscale to a new
image. Small interruptions between edges of different images
were adjusted. The balance of gray scale was maintained in
such a way that the different lands such as forest, agriculture,
villages could be identified easily. This job was performed
using ERDAS Imagery software.
INDITS created site survey plans from
surveyed geo-coordinate points and information from hand sketched
survey data sheets. ASCII files containing GPS coordinates,
point descriptions, field notes and hand drawn sketches were
provided to INDITS. Points/coordinates were placed on the
vector file according to their geo-position and entities such
as houses, streets, rivers were drawn in reference to the
GPS information with the help of field notes, point descriptions
and hand drawn sketches. Additional layer specification such
as roads, fences, trees, parking lots, and buildings were
provided by the client and included in the digital land survey
maps. The final map was delivered to the customer in DWG format.
